Themed Tables
The Wharton Energy Club is very excited to introduce themed tables to our 2008 agenda. At selected times during the day, attendees will have the opportunity to interact in a small group setting with professionals and students on topics of mutual interest. Table Captains will act as discussion leaders and are a fantastic way for sponsors and firms to network with Wharton students. Attendees will have the opportunity while registering for the conference to pick the topics that interest them most on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Why
- Enhances quality of interactions that occur during conference by grouping together people with similar interests
- Promotes fruitful, in-depth discussion about a specific energy topic
Who
- Each table will include at least one "Table Captain": Industry professional with expertise around the specific theme
- Other table participants will include other professionals and MBA students with background or interest in the theme
How
- Conference sponsors receive opportunity to serve as table captains
- To help facilitate discussion, Wharton Energy Club will provide discussion guides for the captains and relevant educational materials for the attendees
